The Yerri valley
is located in the centre of Navarre
. To the north lie the leafy beech forests of the Natural park of Urbasa-Andia
and to the south the Mediterranean vegetation and vineyards along the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago
. Of the 19 village councils in the valley, the biggest are Alloz, Lorca and Bearin with the main village, Arizala, as its geographic centre.
As well as conserving the charm of the relaxed rural way of life in its villages, the valley has a great tourist attraction: the blue waters of the Alloz reservoir
. It is home to the dinghy sailing school of Navarre
and you can enjoy all kinds of water sports there, or simply relax in the areas prepared for bathing.
Would you like to get to know it better? Take advantage of the activities organised by the local people during the Day of the Valley
and discover the great small treasures it hides.
Did you know that...?

They are held on a rotating basis, and the organising town or village puts on the best possible show. The numerous activities - for all ages - make the event a fantastic opportunity to spend a pleasant day and get to know local traditions at the same time.
