The small town of Roncal, set deep in the valley of the same name, organises this event to sing the praises of one of its leading figures: Designation of Origin Roncal cheese, which holds the bragging rights as the first region to receive a D.O. in Spain.

This is an opportunity to gain a deeper insight into the world of shepherding thanks to the exhibitions and typical dishes that can be sampled.

Did you know that...?

In the month of August, Roncal's patron saint festival takes a day to pay homage to the valley's star product. It's an opportunity to get caught up in the festive atmosphere and buy different cheeses straight from the producers.
