Located at 770 metres above sea level, it is a natural viewpoint with excellent views northwards to Pamplona and the Pyrenees, and to the south to the cereal fields and history-filled mediaeval villages. All the pilgrims on the

The regular winds here meant that the El Perdón mountain range was chosen as the site of the first
wind farm in Navarre.
The viewpoint has an explanatory panel next to the singular and suggestive life-size sculpture called
"Monument to the Pilgrim's Way" by Vicente Galbete. It is made of sheet metal and represents a group of pilgrims from different eras crossing the line of wind turbines. The text describing the sculpture says: "Where the route of the wind crosses that of the stars".
