The stamp of
Roman culture, the
Camino de Santiago pilgrim route, its cultural exchanges, and the fact of having been a
Kingdom have all left their mark on Navarra, which has an extraordinarily rich
cultural heritage.
On the other hand, thanks to the varied climate that is surprising in a small region such as ours, we can also boast a
magnificent natural heritage. Evergreen valleys, beautiful colourful forests, spectacular gorges, legendary caves, and many protected areas including three nature reserves.
With the aim of celebrating and sharing this legacy and increasing citizen awareness, Europe holds this encounter every year and as is only natural the authorities of Navarra join their voices to the cause.
For this reason a full programme of activities has been organised:
guided tours, exhibitions, workshops, and
lectures on the cultural and natural heritage.
