Artzai Eguna de Amaiur They say that good things come in threes, and in the pretty Baztan town of Amaiur this saying is perfectly true, as they have held over 40 editions of their Artzai Eguna within their patron saint celebrations. Every August some of the best specialists in sheep handling with dogs come together for an unmissable event in this historical town.

There will also be cheese and ovine cattle contests featuring the Latxa breed, and of course, the International Sheepdog Skills Championship, also entitled "Patxi Etxebarria Memorial", in memory of and in homage to the well-known shepherd and Amaiur local, who won the championship five times.
