holds its October fair on the closest Friday to San Martín. The delightful streets of the town in the Malerreka valley are dotted with small stalls with all kinds of products grown and made in the caseríos (traditional houses) of the area. Visitors to the fair can taste talos (corn bread) and chestnuts while sifting through artisans' posts with wooden utensils, clothing and decorative articles. The day is rounded off with an exhibition of livestock
and agricultural machinery.
