The little town of Artaiz can be found just 24 kilometres from Pamplona, perched up on a small ridge at the north of the Unciti valley. This is where you can marvel at the sculptural magnificence of
one of the finest examples of rural Romanesque in Navarre - the
church of San Martín.
Not so well known, yet just as intriguing, is the
Romanesque spring just outside the town; a little rectangular stone construction reminiscent of a small Roman temple.
