Located 7 km from Funes, it is a beautiful spot and
an excellent viewpoint over the Ribera Alta. On a clear day you can see part of
the Bardenas Reales, Villafranca, Marcilla and, to the north, the snowy peaks of
the Pyrenees. At the foot of the gully, which drops 392 metres, the rivers Arga and Aragon come together and flow down to the Ebro in Milagro, three kilometres downstream.
The landscape is scrubland, and among the bird species present the grey heron stands out. The place is also part of "
Territorio Visón" (mink territory), of which very few specimens survive in Europe. You can drive almost to the end of the track, although the last section is not suitable for wheelchairs.
