Horse Riding
The extensive network of paths that criss-cross Navarre offer opportunities to discover the region’s varied countryside on horseback. From east to west, there are numerous possibilities. As an example, the trail at Xorroxin, in the Baztan valley, where there is a waterfall, which will catch unawares and enchant the rider.
Visitors seldom bring their own animals, but if someone wants to do so, one needs to find out in advance since there is no tourist infrastructure available for looking after animals. However, the majority of horse riding centres offer services which include lodging, cleaning and animal care for a daily fee that ranges between 10 and 20 Euros.
There are many horse riding clubs, which can be contacted by any enthusiast who wants to go on horse rides, take beginners’ and advanced courses, hire equipment or find out about horse riding in Navarre. Additionally, there is an association for equestrian arts and sports in the village of Labiano, which puts on full and varied equestrian shows wherever they are wanted within the region of Navarre.
