A navarrese birder team fourth in the SEO/Birdlife’s Birding Marathon
The team “The Mighty Wrens”, formed by the navarrese birders José Ardaiz, Xabier Remírez and Diego Villanúa, were the fourth classified team (with the same score as the andalusian team “SEO Huelva”) at the SEO/Birdlife’s Bird Race that took place in april 2007 all thoughout Spain’s geography. The itinerary of the team was made integrally through Navarre and they reach the impressive number of 155 bird species seen in less than 24 hours.

The winners of this race were, once more, the Tramuntana Birding Team, from Catalonia, with a new european record: 217 species.
