Four wineries on the St James Way are open to visitors, who can try their wines and even combine these vintages with the different gastronomic experiences on offer.
When The Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago was consolidated, medieval monasteries had their own wineries and wine became a sign of their hospitality towards the pilgrims, as is recorded in guides such as the Codex Calixtinus (Aymeric Picaud). With the aim of highlighting this product, 4 wineries from the Navarra D.O. will open their doors to pilgrims and visitors with tours, wine tastings and meals.
Have a great wine route!
