Located on the roadside, this viewpoint offers impressive views of the Selva de Irati (forest), the Abodi mountain range and the first "2,000-metre" summit of the Pyrenees, the peak of Orhi. In summer flocks of sheep and goats graze in the fields and in winter they head south to the Bardenas Reales along the old Cañada (sheep trail) of the Salacencos. The road it stands on is called the "Wool Route" because it was the itinerary that horse-drawn carts used to use to export wool to Europe.
It has a panoramic table that describes the features of the landscape. The best time to visit is in autumn, when the leaves are changing colour, but also in spring and summer the view over the green meadows and leafy wood is excellent. In winter, the gentle slopes of the Sierra of Abodi are covered with snow and are used for cross-country skiing and snow racketing at the nearby resort of Abodi.
