Henri Lenaerts is an internationally known sculptor, especially in his native Belgium, where his work dominates important public spaces.
The artist decided to spend the last 35 years of his life with his wife Paulette in a masonry-fronted home from the 17th and 18th century located in the small town of Irurre.

Due to its magnificent views of the Guesálaz Valley, the Alloz Reservoir, and the Urbasa Sierra, it's a perfect place to put Hindu philosophy into practice with meditation, reflection, and aesthetic experience, which were passions in his life.

His home's extensive garden (1,500m2) has been converted into an open-air museum paying tribute to his wife. Created in a figurative style using bronze, 22 sculptures are ordered chronologically and by theme, integrating perfectly into this natural space and inviting us to enjoy a pleasant stroll.
