Bodegas Lezáun is located in Lácar, in the foothills of the mountain ranges of Urbasa and Andía. It is a privileged spot for winemaking, with a transitional climate between Atlantic and Mediterranean. The bodega can be found in the ancient basement of the family home, a 17th century building of ashlar stones, the first written evidence of which dates back to 1830.
The bodega also has a steakhouse-restaurant with a capacity of 60 people at the heart of the property, surrounded by casks.
It takes direct control of its vineyards, monitoring the quantity and quality of grapes and using organic agricultural methods. The main grape varieties are Tempranillo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, although Graciano and Garnacha are also used.
The bodega market two ranges of wine: "Egiarte", produced through conventional cultivation methods, with excellent value for money, and "Lezaun Ecológicos", an organic wine in which product quality and respect for the environment are the main goals.
