Fernández de Arcaya

A family enterprise which started winemaking in 1990, when they began producing wine from Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes from their own 44 hectares of vineyards, which were planted in 1982.
The farm buildings were remodelled for the bodega, with the addition of 100% stainless steel small-volume tanks which have an overall capacity of 594,400 litres. Ageing takes place in American and French oak casks.
The bodega makes Crianza red and rosé wines under the names of "Fernández Arcaya" and "Viña Perguita" and also markets a young red wine under the "Alate" label.
