Tudela, a hidden pearl to be discovered

Plaza de los Fueros 4 clues for discovering the keys to this city:

  • Excellent raw materials: you can try up to 28 different vegetable varieties.
  •  A spectacular monumental heritage with Muslim, Jewish, Mozarabic and Christian history.
  • Deep-rooted fiestas and traditions, led by its friendly and lively inhabitants.
  • Refreshing trails along the banks of the River Ebro.
Tudela, one of the cities with the most important Muslim history in Spain and Europe. With its more than 35,000 inhabitants, it preserves its fascinating historical centre that can be easily explored on foot, which we would recommend with a guided tour. As well as its artistic gem, the cathedral, discovering the streets with local guides is a great way to uncover the historical convents and palaces, between which are surprising urban art creations from the international Avant-Garde festival. You will also visit the city's Dark Room and end up in the preferred meeting place for Tudela locals, the beautiful Plaza of the Fueros with its colouristic and blazoned façades. Sit at one of its terraces and watch the day to day happenings of the city.

A recommendation: don't leave the capital of the Navarran Ribera without trying its succulent and famous vegetables, exalted by Ferran Adrià himself, accompanied by a fine D.O Navarre wine.
