In the summer of 2010, Navarre awaits you with a long menu of attractive proposals: sailing, cart rides, winetastings, guided, dramatised and night tours and, in addition, feasts in honour of patron saints where tradition, music and a great atmosphere are always present. Make your selection and enjoy this summer in the most active Navarre.

The menu includes:

Feasts:

• Glimmers of red and white all summer long. Consult the calendar of feasts in honour of patron saints
• Ancestral traditions such as the Tribute of the Three Cows or dances by the danzantes of Ochagavía share the calendar with other events such as the Classical Theatre Festival of Olite or the day of the charcoal burner in Viloria, among others. Consult our 2010 summer agenda.

Guided visits:

• Through villages, visiting monuments and natural resources: dramatised presentations, son et lumière, little-known places... Consult the list of guided visits.
• If you do not have a car (or simply wish to be driven around), a number of excursions by bus will help you discover Navarre in comfort.

Special programmes:

• Dramatised presentations in the cave at Zugarramurdi to celebrate 400 years of witchcraft and akelarres (covens). Full programme of activities.
• Monuments with character, dramatised presentations, shows for pilgrims and many more things to celebrate the 2010 jubilee year of the Pilgrim’s Way. 
• Ciudadelarte: 50 cultural activities that include exhibitions, theatre, dance and music in Pamplona’s Citadel.

Gastronomy tastings:

• Tasting cheese, patxarán (a liqueur made from anisette and sloe berries), wine and salt. Traditionally-made tasty products in wineries, salt pans, farms and dairies in Tierras de Iranzu or the Valley of Améscoa.
• Enjoy freshly-made ‘talos’ (made from corn flour) of cheese, txistorra (spicy sausage) or chocolate in the Baztan valley.
• Thematic dinners where haute cuisine accompanies the history of the Citadel of Pamplona and music.
• Blind tastings, aroma rooms and much more along a route with a ‘Q’ for quality label: the Ruta del Vino de Navarra.
• Wine, pinchos and cazuelicas with live music every Friday, in the Ciudadela and on Saturdays in August, winetasting and star gazing.
• Tastings and concerts in the wineries of the Sangüesa district.
  

Multiple activities:

• Dinghy sailing, wagon excursions, wine and gastronomy tastings in wineries and dairies, paintball... A lot of action for all publics, just a few minutes from Estella, in Tierras de Iranzu.
• Discover the river Irati by inflatable raft. As well as getting some exercise, you can get to know this spectacular river from another angle.
• Rent a canoe and give strong tandem at the oars in the Aragón River as it passes through Sangüesa.
• Flat out on the circuit of Los Arcos: consult the calendar of forthcoming events in this recently-opened race track.
• Enjoy a swim in the natural swimming areas of Navarre.
